So, it's been roughly... erm, 3 months since my last post. Sorry! I've been pretty busy and very lazy so it's been like impossible to talk myself into writing, but here I am! :D
I've been pretty great lately, honestly. I got to go to Nebraska and visit Jess (my troublemaking best friend)...
We, of course, had one of the coolest New Year's Eve parties EVER.
In other news, I'm 15! I spent my birthday at the Mall Of America, and it was so cool. Lots of clothes shopping- I got a Nightmare Before Christmas tee shirt, Orphan Black tee shirt, Fall Out Boy- Save Rock And Roll tee shirt, waaaaaay too many pairs of leggings (I really love leggings), and just stuff like that.
It was awesome, I loved it, and I really really really love shopping. And yeah, it's super stereotypical- hey im a teenage girl and i love going to the mall and buying clothes!- but I do. I like wearing cute clothes and band shirts and fancy print leggings. I like going to different stores and getting the satisfaction of buying something that was on sale, even if it was just saving a few dollars, because that's a good feeling. It's a sense of pride knowing you found a good bargain and it makes you happy so heck yeah I'm gonna feel good!
(Also let's be real printed leggings are THE COOLEST THING IN THE WORLD DON'T DENY IT, IT'S TRUE.)
Anyway so it's been an incredible few months. I've had lots of downs lately, too. I've had days where I was really freaking sad, I've had days when I didn't want to get out of bed, and I've had days where I've cried, but I don't want to focus on those days, because those are the WORST moments of the last few months. I'm not going to dwell on the moments that make me want to break down and scream, I'm going to focus on the ones that make me break out smiling, like getting a shirt for my favorite band, or seeing my best friend. The moments that make me want to laugh for hours. The little things that mean SO MUCH, like getting a ice cream float and just sitting down and talking with mom. Like getting sunglasses with my favorite band's name on them for christmas. Like crafting and using WAY too much glitter. Awesome moments.
Anyway, this post has been drafting in my tab for over 2 days- yeah this post took me 48 hours to write look at how dedicated I am- so I think I'm going to wrap this up.
